MINOT AIR FORCE BASE -- Lt. Col. David Foote, 5th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron commander, washes down one of the wings of a B-52H Stratofortress during an aircraft wash March 31. People could elect their boss or squadron mates to help wash the plane for 25 cents a vote to help raise money for the Air Force Assistance Fund. According to Capt. Randy Schwinler, 5th AMXS, the aircraft takes 111 man hours to wash not including the dry time which can take up to 12 hours given the temperature. The event raised $2,388.
